The Mayor centers on a politician who is running for the office of Seoul mayor for a third time and the electoral politics revolving around his re-election campaign.

Director Park In-je is known for the quite well received conspiracy thriller "Moby Dick". Let's see what his second movie "The Mayor" will bring us. Since Choi Min-sik is aboard, it's a must see for me. Not to forget Kwak Do-won (The Wailing, The Attorney). And Korean politics is a very interesting topic anyway these days.
